We welcome Takenaka Yuki who is medically student of Shiga University of Medical Science, Japan. He will be performing behavioural research project fro 3 weeks. 

Kim lab got funded by funding program called 'NSERC Discovery'.  It will help with many aspects of on going and future research in Kim lab.

Kim lab got funded by internal funding program called 'Visiting Research Scholar'. We will invite Dr. Young-Kyu Kim from Yale University 2017 May and will enhance the interdisciplinary research activities in uOttawa. 

Dr. Kim, our grad student Justine and technician Anne-Christine attended the Allied Genetics Conference this year in Orlando, FL and spread knowledge about the neurocircuits underlying mating behaviour in fruit flies and lab economics

 Our volunteer Jinwoong Kim presented his ideas on how to give visual stimuli to our flies to elicit interesting behaviours.
